Ecu Remapping and Tuning

All new automobiles and vans have an Engine Control Unit (ECU). This is effectively the engine’s brain, a computer that receives inputs from several sensors installed around the engine. An engine’s control unit can have its software modified, so, for tuning purposes, we first take a reading of the software, which is called a ‘map.' Then it is custom set according to your requirements. After that, we send back the revised ‘map’ to your automobile’s ECU.

At KG Coding & Diagnostics tuning, we provide remapping options for most makes of vehicles, both cars and vans. Our ECU remapping and tuning services can be performed either at our workshop in Birmingham, or through our mobile service, where we come to you. Our mobile service covers most of the West Midlands.
